Psychologist, lay church minister; born June 18, 1961; educated at Universidad Austral de Chile with degree as a Teacher of the Handicapped, MA (1996) and PsyD (2003) from Wheaton College Graduate School; staffworker with Grupo Biblico Universitario among university students in Chile (1985-1993), worked professionally in Concepcion with children who were deaf or had speech disorders (1989-1995), founded and directed service project to provide housing for students of poor families studying in Concepcion (1990), chair of the Psychology Department at Universidad Santo Tomas, Concepcion.
