Coleman, Robert Emerson, 1928-
Variant namesRobert E. Coleman is an internationally known evangelist, author, and professor. His formal education was at Southwestern University (Georgetown, Tex.), Asbury Theological Seminary (Wilmore, Ky.), Princeton Theological Seminary (N.J.), the University of Iowa, Biblical Seminary in New York, and Union Theological Seminary (New York, N.Y.) He served as a pastor of the Methodist Church from 1949-1955, and as a professor of evangelism at Asbury Theological Seminary from 1955-1983, and since then at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. He has spoken at many public events, and published many works on evangelism.

Th. from Princeton Seminary, Phd. from the State Univeristy of Iowa; pastored several Methodist churches; taught evangelsim at Asbury Seminary, Trinity Evangelical Divinity SDchool, and Gordon-Conwell Seminary, as well as visiting professor at numerous institions around the world; International Director of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association's Schools of Evangelism, author of several book, including The Master Plan of Evangelism, which sold over three million copies; frequent conference speaker.
