The Bible Teachers Training College was founded in 1900 by Wilbert Webster White who served as its president from 1900-1939. In 1921 the name of the institution was changed to the Biblical Seminary in New York then in 1965 to the New York Theological Seminary. The instiution was also known as the Winona Bible School.
