Chester Albert Reeds was a geologist and museum curator.

Reeds joined the American Museum of Natural History in 1912 as assistant curator in the Dept. of Geology and Invertebrate Paleontology, eventually becoming associate curator, then curator in 1927, following W.D. Matthew's move to California. During the years 1924 to 1930, Reeds was also the editor for Division I of the AMNH Publication Committee, overseeing the AMNH bulletins, novitates, memoirs and guide leaflets on geology and paleontology. Reeds retired in 1938.
