Tuma, Daniel.

Daniel Tuma (1918-1961) was one of nine children born to Ameen and Adeeba Tuma, and the first born in Mich. After graduating from Berkley High Schoool in Mich. in 1936, Daniel attended a two-year course at the Detroit Business College where he learned accounting and shorthand. In 1940, he was induccted into the U.S. Army. Daniel was part of a unit that trained the first U.S. Army Women's Army Auxiliary Corps (WAACs) during World War II. Daniel later worked for Pontiac.
