Green family.
Owners of the estate known as "Green Hill" in Worcester, Mass., since 1754 until 1905 when it was purchased by the city to be used as a public park known as Green Hill Park. The estate consisted of approximately 500 acres of land with a farm, stone quarry, and large mansion. The residence was begun by Dr. John Green in 1757 and enlarged by Elijah Green and Andrew Haswell Green.
