Jesuit liturgist and author.
Ellard joined the Jesuits in 1912 and was ordained in 1926. He taught at St. Mary's College, Kansas from 1932 until his death. Ellard pioneered many liturgical reforms, help found the National Liturgical Conference, and wrote extensively on Catholic liturgy.
