Thomas Story was an English Quaker lawyer who travelled in the ministry and was also active in the government of Pennsylvania from about 1700-1714. In 1706 he married Ann Shippen, daughter of the mayor of Philadelphia. She died in 1710, and he returned to England where he died in 1742.
