Biographical notes:

Elise Boulding (1920- ) is a sociologist, educator, peace scholar, and activist. She has been involved with numerous American and international educational and peace organizations. In 1990, she was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize for her work on non-violence and conflict resolution.
