Julius, David and Albert Eichel (brothers) were absolutist conscientious objectors to war, as was Julius's wife, Esther and their son Seymour. Raised in the Jewish faith but grounding their convictions in Socialism, David and Julius were imprisoned as conscientious objectors to World War I.
