Wingfield lived at "Bellair" in Albemarle County, Va. Married Mary Lewis. Appointed magistrate in 1794 and served as sheriff in 1819. Family tradition (unproven) that he was Episcopal minister. He died in 1819.

Beverley Randolph was born in Henrico County in 1754, the son of Colonel Peter and Lucy Bolling Randolph. A 1771 graduate of the College of William and Mary, Randolph was a member of the general assembly during the Revolutionary War and considered to be an ardent patriot. He was chosen as President of the Executive Council of Virginia and in December 1788 succeeded Gov. Edmund Randolph. He died in Cumberland County in February 1797.

Beverley Randolph (September 11, 1755– February 1797) was an American politician from Virginia. He served as governor of Virginia from 1788 to 1791.
