George Robert Crotch (1842-1874) was a zoologist who collected insects on the west coast of North American.

George Robert Crotch (1842-1874) worked in the University Library, Cambridge until 1871. He went to America in 1872 on an expedition to collect specimens of natural history, where he died. His collections came to the University Museum of Zoology.
