Alvord, a well-known American historian. They discuss its two published works: Grace Lee Nute, Documents Relating to Northwest Missions (St. Paul, 1942), and Lucile M. Kane, Military Life in Dakota (St. Paul, 1951), and other manuscripts considered for publication. Chairpersons were Solon J. Buck, Lester B. Shippee, and Grace Lee Nute.
