Drake states that he copied the genealogy from printed minutes purporting to have been collected by Samuel Goodhue, a soldier of the Revolution in his 81st year Boston, 18 June 1845. Includes a letter from Henry Wheatland dated Salem Dec 21 1846 to S.G. Drake accompanied by a five page statement of facts relative to the descendants of William Goodhue.
