Recipients: [Thomas] Bellamy, Edmund [Byng], Thomas [John] Dibdin, Robert William Elliston, Francis Fladgate, Mr. Freeman, J[oseph?] Glossop, Prince Hoare, Mr. Marsh, William Moore, David Edward Morris, [Richard Brinsley Peake], [Stephen Price], John Taylor, James Winston and others. Part of (46) is missing. (41) is Winston's copy of a letter from Colman to Mr. Stapleton, July 17, 1810. (40) and (41) are on the same sheet. Most of the letters concern the Haymarket theatre. Attached to (50) is a letter from Charles John Kean to an unidentified person, 1861. Some letters undated.

Discussing his "Reading idea," mentioning that Forster is "extraordinarily irrational about it," and that he suggested Dickens consult "F.L.A.D.G.A.T.E.!" Noting that the "Doncaster unhappiness remains so strong upon [Dickens] that [he] can't write, and (waking) can't rest, one minute," and that he has known no peace since the final performance of The Frozen Deep, supposing "there never was a Man so seized and rended by one Spirit."

Collection of images concerning the life of the English poet, John Keats, as well as papers relating to the collection. Collection assembled by American Louis Arthur Holman. Holman was a Keats expert, an artist, writer on art, and a staff member at Goodspeed's Book Shop who established a print department, but later became the owner of Holman's Print Shop.
