Pasted to inside cover boards are pictures of engravings of Captain Thomas Coram, founder of the Foundling Hospital of London, England, and also engravings of the hospital at various stages of development.

This collection consists of eleven scrapbooks complied by Thomas Gamble on various historical topics and individuals as well as three folders including a city council resolution, an issue of Naval Stores Review, items pertaining to President Franklin D. Roosevelt's visit to Savannah, and correspondence. Also included are three photographs. One shows Thomas Gamble with General George C. Marshall, Savannah Mayor Thomas Maxwell Hoynes, and Police Chief Lysaught. There are two copies of a photograph of Gamble with Franklin D. Roosevelt, Mrs. Sarah Delano Roosevelt, and Governor Eugene Talmadge. The folder containing photographs is noted as "VM" (visual materials) in the collection inventory.
