Handwritten, detailed plan for the establishment and operation of the Magdalen Charity House in London. Addressed to "The Society for the Enceuragement of Arts Manufactures & Commerce 1758." Pasted to inside cover boards are pictures of engravings of Captain Thomas Coram, founder of the Foundling Hospital of London, England, and also engravings of the hospital at various stages of development.
