Manigault, Gabriel, 1704-1781.
Charleston, South Carolina merchant, banker, plantation owner, and politician. One of the wealthiest men in the province, Gabriel Manigault owned or co-owned several schooners and conducted trade primarily with the West Indies, Philadelphia (Pa.), and New York.
