Correspondence, transcripts of sessions, honorary citations, publications, planning committee records, clippings, and photographs. The convocation held at Mount Holyoke College, Oct. 3-4, 1952, included: three panels -- Science, industry, and education, Vanishing boundaries in science, and Human values in the world today; two major addresses -- Mankind in the distant future, by Sir Charles Galton Darwin, and The universality of human values, by Minoo R. Masani; and the awarding of honorary citations to 29 alumnae for achievement in their careers. Panel members included: Roger Adams, James Bliss Austin, Paul R. Burkholder, Margaret Clapp, Karl T. Compton, ReneĢ d'Harnoncourt, Frederick M. Eliot, Gladys Emerson, James R. Killian, Jr., George B. Kistiakowsky, Archibald MacLeish, Whitney J. Oates, David Riesman, Robert C. Sprague, Robert C. Swain, and Shields Warren.

The first official publication of Mount Holyoke Female Seminary was a catalogue issued in 1837 containing information about trustees, teachers, terms of admission, the course of study, the schedule for the year, Family Accommodations, and the Moral and Religious Influence at the school.
