Ledger contains plantation accounts of William Dabney of Hanover County, Virginia and blacksmith's accounts of his son Charles. Entries provide information on plantation crops and slaves and slavery as well as record payments for services such as carpentry, shoemaking, and midwifery. Dabney served as steward for Edward Ambler, Dudley Digges, and Armistead Lightfoot.
