Personal papers and publications, 1926-continuing.

Description: Personnel papers and publications of William J. Micheels who was president of Stout from 1961-1972. Includes Micheel's personal correspondence, speeches, materials relating to his work as a consultant, course materials, copies of journal articles and books written by Micheels, and miscellaneous materials. The correspondence and speeches relate to Micheel's professional career at the University of Minnesota and his assignment at Fort Knox during World War II. There is also some material concerning his work developing an industrial arts curriculum for the state of Utah. Micheels kept course outlines, class and lecture notes and related materials for a number of courses in education and industrial arts which he either attended as a student or taught. Micheels served as a consultant for an evaluation of the Federal Aviation Academy's instructional program, 1964, and as a consultant on several other projects as well.
