American journalist and foreign correspondent Victor Heine Bernstein worked for several newspapers. He is best known as a foreign editor of PM newspaper, covering World War II: the prewar persecution of the Jews in Germany and Austria, the collapse of Germany, the liberation of the concentration camps, and the Nuremberg trial.
