Summary of events which led to the resignation of cadets Fairfax, Holmes, Loring, Ragland and Vining including charges brought against Lt. John Bliss by cadets, charges brought against the aforementioned cadets by Major Sylvanus Thayer, J.C. Calhoun's order removing Bliss from position as tactical officer and reinstating cadets Loring, Fairfax, Ragland, Holmes and Vining.
