Typewritten and bound transcript of an interview conducted by Michael Van Wagenen for the World War II Homefront Oral History Project of the Charles Redd Center for Western Studies at Brigham Young University on 29 Feb. 1992. Ushio describes his family background and their migration to the United States. He tells about his family's life in Utah and his contact with Mormons and the Japanese American community. He talks about his involvement with the Japanese American Citizens League and its activities during World War II.
