Interview conducted by Odessa Neaman as part of the LDS Native American Oral History Project by the Charles Redd Center for Western Studies at Brigham Young University on April 29 and 30, 1990. Neaman talks about growing up in Alderdale, Washington. She talks about her early family life and her experiences attending a boarding school. She tells about joining the Mormon Church and her life in Washakie, Utah. She talks about the role of her Yakima culture and the Mormon Church in her life. She discusses her courtship and marriage. She describes her feelings about the excommunication of George P. Lee.
