Commonplace book containing ms. copies of poems by Byron, Kirke White, Thomas Moore, Sir Walter Scott, Southey, Shelley, Pope, Dryden, Fenelon, Cowper, H. H. Milman, Wordsworth, J. T. Coleridge and S. T. Coleridge. Also includes some prose passages from Boswell's Life of Johnson, and some that are reports of legal cases, including, "Address of Mr. Baron Richards to White for violating the persons of female children under the age of 10 years," (p. 136), and Bishop Horne's sermons on the tree of knowledge and the tree of life.
