Letters concerning publishing projects and related topics. Five letters (one with envelope) to Lady Strachey, dealing with the identification of the author of a eulogy to Shakespeare, Bullen's editorship of Gentleman's magazine, and drawing newspaper attention to the activities of his Shakespeare Head Press in the tercentenary year of Shakespeare's death. One letter to Roberts Brothers, informing them that the Chiswick Press is in the process of publishing William Morris's Wood beyond the world, and offering to supply them with copies of this as well as other titles. Two letters to Messrs. Sherratt & Hughes relating to a correction in and purchase of Lawrence's Elizabethan playhouse.

John Sherratt and Joseph David Hughes opened a bookshop at the corner of St. Ann Street and Half Moon Street in Manchester in 1896.
