Letter to the Reverend John Marsh, declining an invitation to a celebration of the law prohibiting traffic in liquor in New York State, held by the "friends of the law for the Suppression of Intemperance, Pauperism, and crime." He states that he feels the law will be "cordially and faithfully executed."
