Photocopies and/or typed transcripts of 37 letters written by Zeppelin to his parents in Germany while on a visit to the U.S. during the Civil War. Includes descriptions of balloon ascensions in St. Paul in August by itinerant balloonist John H. Steiner. All the letters are in German.
