Legislative and campaign files documenting Faricy's career representing St. Paul (Minn.) legislative districts 48B (1971-1972) and 63A (1973-1980) as a Democratic-Farmer-Labor member of the Minnesota House of Representatives. While in the legislature, he served on the following committees: appropriations, crime and corrections, higher education, metro-urban affairs, and rules. Following his resignation from the legislature in 1980, he ran for the state senate (1986) and for mayor of St. Paul (1993).
