The records in this group consist of those Schuylkil Navigation Company materials that remained in the possession of the Reading Company after the 1947 sale. The bulk of the group is made up of account books and registers of stocks and bonds. These give the financial side of the construction and enlargement of the canal, the collection of tolls and the leasing of canal boats to independent operators.
