Management information projects reports, 1989-[ongoing].

The Dept. of Post-Secondary Education, Management Information Division, is responsible for data collection from the colleges and the department; for providing MIS and telecommunications technical assistance, training, and support to the colleges and the department; for acting as liaison with the MIS centers at colleges, as well as with external governmental and nongovernmental agencies; and for providing programming support to the department (Employee Handbook, Dec. 1989). As a record of divisional activities, the Management Information Division creates an annual report describing the current mission and projects. This document was created to keep colleges and other interested parties abreast of current issues and activities of the Management Information Systems of the Department of Post-Secondary Education and its two year colleges. Information available on these annual reports include the department's efforts to strengthen the management information system in the two year colleges and the collection and dissemination of data on the two year colleges.
