Children and youth services files, 1964-1983 [state publication].

Relating to children and youth services, this series contains pamphlets which guide students and teachers in the use of the library, an annotated, classified list of books and films on the exceptional child for parents and teachers, a list of books for small children and for parents, and summer reading program materials. The summer reading program materials include bookmarks, certificates, signs, reading logs (with puzzles), a list of books which could be borrowed from the agency, and a handbook which suggests ways the materials furnished may be used locally and which offers ideas for program management and content. The series documents the agency's goal of serving all citizens, particularly in assisting youth and attracting children to the library.
