Field training programs contain programs of instruction and schedules for various units of the National Guard. Programs list periods covered, objectives, orders, training agencies, instructions for inspection and standards, instructions for the preparation of training schedules, and subjects in the basic training program. Schedules include a daily, hour-by-hour, account of classes and activities for all organizations, a list of instructors, and notes. The series illustrates a role of the department in military training.
