Includes letters (1924-1928) to her family from Pauline Loring Lee (b. 1907) as a student at Converse College, Spartanburg, S.C.; copybooks (1834-1836) kept by Mary B. Brunson (1820-1898) as a student at Sumterville Female Academy; and letters (1918) relating to the death of Theodore DuBose Ravenel, Jr. (1895-1918), who was killed in France during World War I. Other persons represented include George Washington Lee (1815-1874), John Dozier Lee (1840-1862), and George Washington Loring.
