This series consists of letters sent to the Governor and state bond commissioners regarding the purchase, sale, and exchange of bonds issued by the State of Ala. The letters generally refer to various acts passed by the Legislature relative to different bond issues that allow holders of bonds to cash them in or exchange them for different bonds. Many of the letters contain references to acts passed to consolidate the state's bonded debt.
