This series consists of deposit notebooks, which seem to be a record unique to the Branch Bank at Mobile. The deposit notebooks are a record of all of the collections or deposits of the Branch Bank. Included are the date on which the note was deposited, the name of the drawer of the note, the name of the individual or firm who is the accepter or payer of the note, and the name of the individual or firm who is the endorser of the note. Also included are the name of the Branch Bank, out-of-state bank, individual or firm to whom the note belongs, the date of the note, the note number, the terms of the note, when the note is due, the amount, and any special remarks. The remarks state whether the note was paid, returned, or forwarded to another Branch Bank.
