Most were taken by William Mitchell, Jr. There are commercial photographs of the Mitchell Printing Co. and Bindery, its employees at work and machinery. Also are photographs of the Mitchell family and friends and the Mitchell home. There are images of public buildings, portraits, residences, street scenes, and views of the countryside in Hancock County, Indiana.
