Leora De Land assembled this scrapbook, while a student at Vassar College, Poughkeepsie, New York. In it she pasted an extensive array of souvenirs and mementos including: programs of concerts and theater productions, banquet menus, dance cards, tickets, pressed flowers, academic report cards, calling cards, invitations, poetry and verse, hand-drawn sketches, and photographs. All of the items are carefully captioned and annotated, as to their significance. The photographs capture scenes of dormitory rooms, recreation, and other social events.
