This collection contains interviews with sixteen veteran performers and relative newcomers, announcers, and executives of Renfro Valley Folks, Inc. C. V. "Cotton" Foley, Old Joe Clark, and Ann Lair Henderson, one of John Lair's daughters, are among those interviewed. They discuss their personal histories and careers, John Lair, country and folk music, and the business aspects of Renfro Valley as well as its entertainment programs and history.
