ArchivalResource

Photo Archive budget information, 1976-1979.

The collection includes correspondence, memoranda, and reports, 1977-1979, of the J. Paul Getty Museum Photo Archive/Library. Some documents contain background information for budget reports, including detailed lists of expenditures for purchases and duplicating services, salaries and benefits, supply purchases, as well as notations by Laurie Fusco for many of these categories. Also included are memoranda to Stephen Garrett, Museum Director, justifying continued purchasing of photographs despite a cataloging backlog, narratives summarizing budget requests, and overspending. The operating and capital budget folders include similar information, such as notes by Laurie Fusco, but this is not duplication. The general ledger reports detail approved budgets.
