[Holman-O'Brien Papers]. 1827-1893.

Holman was a member of the U.S. House of Representatives for sixteen terms from 1859 until 1897. Collection contains Holman's political and personal correspondence to Cornelius and William O'Brien, Dr. Willam D.H. Hunter and others in Dearborn County, Indiana. Letters express Holman's opinions concerning political activities and personalities in Indiana and Washington, D.C.. Also included are Lawrenceburgh (Ind.) land receipts, miscellaneous legal documents and newspaper clippings.
