John A. Jacquez has been associated with the University of Michigan since 1962 as a professor of physiology and biostatistics at both the Medical School and the School of Public Health. Born in France on June 26, 1922, he and his family immigrated to New York in 1929. Jacquez earned his undergraduate degree (1943) and MD.
