Ledger, 1791-1796.

Records debits and credits accrued by Rahm & Baum in the operation of their store. The firm offered a wide range of products to its customers, including flax, whiskey, salt, window glass, "sundries," potash, decanters, coffee, nails, sets of teaware, shoes, textiles, etc. Other expenses documented include the cost of a carriage from Philadelphia, work at a store in Middletown, and hauling between Middletown and Hummelstown. Many of the entries contain a dollar amount owed and the phrase "per daybook."
