Matilda Bancroft's New Mexico miscellany, 1884.

Penciled notes by Mrs. Bancroft made in Santa Fe, mostly from the Santa Fe New Mexican Review. The material includes biographical data on Henry J. Cuniff, former probate judge of Dona Ana County, and Reuben Gentry, a Santa Fe trader since 1839; notes on the Navajos; a soap industry employing yucca fiber; a revisiting of New Mexico by W.W.H. Davis; mineral developments; sheep-raising; and the old Santa Fe town market.
