Boardman family papers, 1864-1865.

Letters of John and William Boardman to their father, John's letters describe his military experiences in Georgis, Tennessee, and Mississippi, including descriptions of fighting around Atlanta during the summer of 1864. William's letters describe his experiences as a freshman, including examinations, freshman-sophomore rivalry, and money problems. The collection also includes a few pages of William's accounts.
