Photographs document the construction sites associated with the building of the Canadian Pacific railway. Handwritten captions provide information on costs, site descriptions including size, construction materials, groups of engineers and laborers, and landscapes in Maine and Canada. Two clippings from 06/03/1908 are obituaries for Sir Robert Gillespie Reid, bridge constructor and one clipping about an incident on the Wilson Stream bridge.
