Miscellaneous papers of Mario Salmi, ca. 1914-ca. 1965.

Miscellaneous research materials, chiefly relating to Italian art, including notes, typescripts, offprints, clippings, and some photographs. Originally filed with Salmi's collection of photographs of works of art (now mostly dispersed in the repository's Photo Study Collection), many of these materials are leaves from typescripts and other writings which were re-used to segregate groups of photographs. This folder also contains parts of a 1942 report on the reading room reference library and photographic archive at the Istituto di Storia d'Arte, Pisa.
