Sir Simonds D'Ewes papers, 1623-1624 (inclusive), [microform].

The papers consist of typed transcript of a journal of the proceedings of the Parliament of 1624, together with Parliamentary Relations and Passages for 1623, compiled by Sir Simonds D'Ewes, a seventeenth century English antiquarian. The original is Harleian MS 159:2 in the British Museum.

British baronet and writer on English history, best known as the compiler of Journals of all the Parliaments during the reign of Queen Elizabeth (published after his death, in 1682). D'Ewes' early diaries formed the basis of College life in the time of James the First (compiled by John Howard Marsden and published in 1841).
