Mack truck carrying 10-ton load : photographs, ca. 1920.

The first photograph depicts several people standing by the 3 1/2 ton truck (the Mack "Bulldog" with a load of 20,185 lbs.) The other prints show the truck carrying the load on a narrow dirt mountain road, possibly part of the Los Angeles aqueduct construction system. At one point, the truck slips partially off the road. Two photographers are with the party, as well as what looks to be a financial backer or director, possibly William Mulholland.

6 photographic prints ; 50.5 x 75.5 cm or slightly smaller.
